[Solved] Privacy policy example?

I’ve recently started using gitea and so far I liked it.

I wanted to open a public gitea instance to allow my community to interact with me on my programs (account creation would be available to anybody.
I’m not a legal expert and I’d like to know if there are example privacy (and cookie) policy for gitea instances.

I do not plan to add other trackers myself. I’m using the builtin gitea user managing system.

Is there anything specific that I’d need to know before hosting it publicly?

I am no expert either, but you may consider something like Cookie Consent for those strict European laws.

You can inject it into the site using the templates feature in Gitea.
