I successfully installed Gitea on Ubuntu 16.04 x64 but failed to install Gitea on CentOS 7 x64

I just successfully installed Gitea on Ubuntu 16.04 x64 on a $2.50/month 512 MB VPS on Vultr.com. The installation worked smooth as silk. Yet I failed to install Gitea when I tried to install it on CentOS 7 x64. Any idea why?

It is not a big deal because to some extent Linux is Linux, but “most of the cool kids” (sys admins) seem to generally favor CentOS over Ubuntu as a server. Me? I am not technical and am generally “flavor uninterested.” But I am looking for the best solution.

What problem exactly did you have? Any error message or something?

I am sorry. I don’t remember what problem I had installing Gitea on CoreOS 7

However, If you would like I would be glad to spin up a fresh VPS with CoreOS 7 and give you root access to that server so that you can try to install Gitea yourself.
