How to use inline animated gif into an issue description?

I wonder if I can add an animated gif in an issue description in the same way I do for a png file.
I used to drag and drop the png file from my desktop into the description text field.

If I try to do the same with an animated gif, the picture is open in my browser (I use to use Chrome).

Any advice ?

I just tried that on my chrome. It said that it doesn’t work with this type. If you are able to host the gif somewhere you can just link it like this ![Alt Text](https://media.giphy.com/media/vFKqnCdLPNOKc/giphy.gif).
