How to crossreference an issues from another repository

Hi guys. A quick question: when commenting on an issue in on project, is it possible to reference an issue in another project?

I’ve seen a merged PR claiming to implement this, but I am unable to make it work. See this example comment on an issue

Am I missing something? Thanks!

Posting here for those not tagging along on Discord: this is actually an issue with the Regex not matching the - character in the issue reference.
