A few months ago the idea of creating a Gitea hosting provider emerged in this forum. Since then a few people worked to make it happen at https://hostea.org in a 100% transparent and 100% Free Software way. You can read all about it, down to the last detail in the Hostea forum.
It is a radically horizontal collective of individuals and organizations with a unique revenue sharing model set to dedicate 25% of the income to dependencies, the first of which is Gitea itself.
@lunny @zeripath @techknowlogick would you like for Gitea to become a member of Hostea? As Gitea owners, the decision is yours and it would be a pleasure to welcome Gitea in Hostea. And it would also make a lot of sense
