We have just moved from GitLab to Gitea. GitLab ended up becoming a resource hog, and very hard to migrate.
One of the features I miss from GitLab is the ability of administrators to be able to impersonate user accounts on the web app. This allows administrators to set up and configure users in a more comprehensive way (like setting up with avatar).
