Cannot confirm gitea.com account email because I typed in the wrong one

I have an issue that is similar to this one. I registered an account on gitea.com (KatieFrogs), but I am stuck in a loop, not able to access my account or confirm my email. When I login, the website offers me to send a 3-hour confirmation email to an address that I typed during the registration, but do not actually have access to. I set it to 23621460+katiefrogs@users.noreply.github.com thinking I can get away with it and not have to change from my anonymous GitHub email, but I was wrong. There is no way for me to change that email to anything else, and I cannot access my account setting to either change my email or delete the account to try again. Do unconfirmed accounts eventually get deleted or should the staff help me with this
