Archive repositories - How?

In migrating all my repos from Githib I find myself wanting to do some housekeeping. What to do with old repos you don’t want cluttering your repo list but you want to keep the code somewhere?

I suppose in some ways it’s a feature request for an ‘Archive’ button, perhaps with ‘Archived repositories’ appearing in a collapsed block below ‘My repositories’ in the UI.

In the meantime I’m wondering if anyone else has come up with a solution. Pondering abusing the organization feature, creating an Archive organization and transferring archived repos into that. Or possibly an Archive user.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome

I would probably create an organisation for that.
There is an issue on Github for that feature: https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/1353
You’re welcome to give your opinion over there to include mirrored repos.
